
Immunosin
Indications:
Immunosin shortens the course of illness and reduces the severity of symptoms such as respiratory infections, flu, measles, chickenpox, hepatitis A, german measles, herpes zoster, epidemic parotiditis, infectious mononucleosis, viral encephalitis, subacute sclerosing panencephalitis (SSPE). It is also used as adjunct treatment to cancer & TB chemotherapy.
How to take:
Adult dosage for Immunosin is 1 tablet every 4 hours. This drug should be taken with food to prevent stomach upset.
Precautions:
Consult doctor before taking Immunosin. Inform doctor of any illness such as gout, renal disorder and severe gastric ulcers. The doctor should also be informed if any pregnancy and breastfeeding is expected. This drug is known to cause rise in serum and urine uric acid levels therefore consult doctor constantly.
